Description

The SC PRO Series is a direct replacement for one of the most well-known cellar cooling units, the XLT. Designed for simple, through-the-wall installation, the unit fits between standard wall studs and a single piece mounting bracket eliminates the need for a support shelf. The SC PRO has a 30°F temperature differential. In order to keep your cellar at 55°F, the condenser intake temperature should not exceed 85°F. This makes interior installation ideal for SC Series units.

The SC Series is our easiest-to-install, self-contained cooling unit. It does not require an HVAC-R technician to install. It embodies the latest and greatest system design technologies in an all-new housing design. Developed upon feedback directly from customers and installers, the unit incorporates a variety of high-end components at an affordable price point. By combining powerful airflow with quiet operation technology, the SC PRO is unrivaled when it comes to efficiently cooling small to mid-sized wine cellars.

What separates the original SC Series from the SC PRO Series? The SC PRO comes complete with a new blower fan system that optimizes performance while operating at a significantly lower noise level. It also reintroduces a condensate management system, which effectively evaporates up to 3oz. of water an hour. This management system renders the drain line as an additional safeguard rather than a definite need.

SUPERIOR OPERATING FLEXABILITY:

  • New state of the art compressors
  • Ltd. 2 Year Parts/Labor & 5 Year compressor warranty
  • Connect power to the side or rear of the unit.
  • New Condensation Reduction System
  • Single Piece Mounting Bracket
  • Advanced Digital Controller
  • Coated Evaporator Coil
  • Dynamic Airflow
  • Bottle Probe
  • Durable Finish

OPTIONAL DETAILS

  • The secret to moving hot air through 25′ of ducting is an automatic inline fan. As temperatures approach wine damaging levels the fan turns on. Great for small spaces that are prone to heat build-up. The ducting unit has the ability to direct exhaust in a variety of directions for convenient wine storage protection.
  • The Exterior Grille protects the exhaust side of the system from the weather elements when installed through an exterior wall (not recommended, consider the Extreme Series instead which is built for extreme conditions such as venting outdoors).

CHOOSE YOUR POWER

This option allows for the power to come from inside or outside the cellar, freeing up power cords to hide and providing cleaner looking wine cellar.

  • Choose from front or side power cord options
  • Easily hide your power cord
  • Adds installation flexibility

REDESIGNED FAN SYSTEM

The new SC PRO utilizes a revamped fan system that boasts a significant direct, robust airflow. This blower revolution allows for even quieter operation and is designed to push conditioned air effectively throughout the room for even distribution.

  • Great Reduction In noise levels
  • Even distribution of cool air
  • Improved air circulation

SMART REFRIGERANT METERING

We have upgraded the SC PRO’s refrigeration metering device to manage the flow of refrigerant throughout the cooling system efficiently. In comparison to our previous refrigerant management, the TXV is a “smart” metering device that can manage refrigerant by itself.

  • Reliable starting and running performance
  • Efficient refrigerant management
  • Optimal temperature control

ADVANCED CONDENSATE MANAGEMENT

We have added a new advanced condensate management system, which will effectively evaporate up to 3 ounces of condensate per hour of operation. This simple yet effective technology eliminates the reliance on the system’s drain line and also optimizes the unit’s performance.

  • Evaporates 3 ounces of condensation per hour
  • Optimizes overall performance of unit
  • Drain line now used as additional safeguard

OPTIMAL TEMPERATURE MONITORING

The SC PRO Series accurately measures the temperature of the wine in the cellar using a liquid temperature measuring probe. Measuring the temperature of a liquid is a more direct and accurate reflection of the temperature of the wines stored in the cellar instead of ambient cellar air.

  • Measures precise temperature of wine
  • Prevents unit from short cycling
  • Allows system to operate more efficiently

ADVANCED TEMPERATURE CONTROLS

The SC PRO Series utilizes the digital controller, which is located on the front of the unit. The digital controller is equipped with “Advanced System Protection” that set off an alarm to alert you if certain parameters aren’t met.

  • Easily view wine and coil temperatures
  • Monitors system and environment conditions
  • Audible alert to maintain optimal parameters
