Reporting to the Trade Marketing Manager, the Senior Sales Representative (SSR) is responsible for developing new and existing business through direct-to-customer and trade partnerships, ultimately driving individual and team revenue. The individual must be highly motivated and self-driven, with accomplished experience with similar accountability.

Overview:

Reporting to the Trade Marketing Manager, the Senior Sales Representative (SSR) is responsible for developing new and existing business through direct-to-customer and trade partnerships, ultimately driving individual and team revenue. The individual must be highly motivated and self-driven, with accomplished experience with similar accountability.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue team sales by delivering individual & trade team sales targets.

Trade Partner Development

  • Prospect potential new Wine Rack America partners, establish new business relationships, and promote product sales and the Preferred Partner Program (PPP).
  • Expand relationships with existing partner networks, foster established relationships, manage account activity, and generate repeat business opportunities.
  • Monitor & address the ongoing performance of partners, including utilization/repeat rates, purchase size/trends, execution quality, etc.
  • Prioritize established Enterprises and high revenue-producing Preferred Partners.

Direct-to-Customer Selling

  • Utilize incoming lead generation methods (website design requests, incoming calls, consultation requests, etc.) to present, promote and sell products.
  • Deliver monthly and annual individual sales objectives in support of company growth goals. Work daily lead flow and maintain a high conversion rate.
  • Drive sales executions, leveraging consultative sales approach to educating and ultimately closing customer projects.

General

  • Maintain detailed knowledge of WRA product lines, unique value propositions, and advantages that set us apart from competitors.
  • Drive cross-functional team collaboration, working effectively with other WRA departments (including marketing, sales, design services, finance, customer service, and product development).
  • Utilize selling tools and systems (like Salesforce CRM) to drive business & hit performance goals.
  • Participation in trade shows & events.
  • Manage Sales Representative direct report (TBD).Critical Skills and Experience
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant sales experience in a comparable industry required (including home furnishing/improvement, manufacturing, and/or construction). Sales experience in wine storage is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a high sense of urgency.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to act independently.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook, as well as general knowledge of Salesforce CRM tools.
  • Solid team player with a sense of ownership, and pride in performance and its related impact on a company’s success.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary and incentive compensation package. OTE = $66-$70k (Base pay: $40k+ estimated commission: $26k-$30k).Uncapped commissions.
