Description

Find the perfect wood swatch for your new wine storage system here, then order the samples to be able to view in-person and make sure the swatch matches your design and room style. Select between four standard woods and six stain options available in the following collections; InstaCellar, CellarVue, and Living Series™. All stain and satin finishes are made with our WineSafe™ water-based stain and sealant to better protect wine from contamination. We strongly recommend adding a WineSafe™ Satin Sealant to any stain to preserve the color of the stain over time. Singular wood swatches are free and will arrive within 5-7 business days.

Standard Woods

PONDEROSA PINE: Clear, furniture grade pine sourced from the Pacific Northwest. We offer the best-quality softwoods in the business.

KNOTTY ALDER: This is the All-American hardwood of choice. Easy to mill, stain and full of character. Grown and harvested in the USA.

PREMIUM REDWOOD: Beautiful, mildew resistant and native to the North American coast. Unparalleled in appeal, redwood just looks amazing in wine cellars. Not available for certain InstaCellar™ cabinet products.

GRAND MAHOGANY: Straight-grained hardwood with pink to light-brown coloration. FSC certified and sustainably farmed in South America. Not available for certain Living Series™ products.

WineSafe™, formulated with our proprietary water-based recipe, is low in VOCs, free from odors, and environmentally friendly. Unlike chemical-based alternatives, our water-based solution doesn't penetrate deeply into the wood, ensuring the protection of your valuable wine collection. If you choose to customize your wooden racks with one of our exclusive color stains, we highly recommend applying our specially crafted WineSafe™ clear coat sealant. This ensures the safeguarding and preservation of your chosen stain hue, maintaining its color integrity throughout the entire duration of wine storage.
