Description

The secret to moving hot air through 25' of ducting is an automatic inline fan. As temperatures approach wine damaging levels the fan turns on. Great for small spaces that are prone to heat build-up. The ducting unit has the ability to direct exhaust in a variety of directions for convenient wine storage protection.

Specifications:

  • Weight: 20.000000
  • AMPS (starting): 4

Features:

  • Purchase when ducting your SC unit
  • Fits any SC unit
  • Use with insulated ducting
  • Can duct up to 25′

The ducting option’s function is to move warm air away from the WhisperKOOL unit. Enhances efficiency of the WhisperKOOL unit by preventing the warm air from re-entering the unit. Great for small areas that are prone to heat build-up such as a closet or a garage.

Ducting in this fashion can also help reduce noise generated by the unit, which helps if your wine cellar is located in a high traffic area.

This kit works on both the SC and XLT series. The small kit fits SC 2000i, 3000i, 4000i, & XLT 1600, 3000, & 4200. The large kit fits SC 6000i, 8000i, & XLT 6000, 8000.
