20 Years of Innovation

For the last 20 years, Wine Racks America has continuously brought their customers the latest in wine storage innovation to help them create the perfect place to store their wine. Today, we’re celebrating our hard work with a trip down memory lane.

2003 – Wine Racks America opened for business out of a garage, designing one-off storage solutions, aka the Living Series™. Later that year, we moved into a rented space in a chocolate factory in North SLC and launched both WineRacksAmerica.com and the InstaCellar™ collection.

2005 – WineRacksAmerica.com was revamped to include our growing product catalog, plus the addition of cooling systems, wine cellar doors and metal racks from other partners to help our customers build out the wine storage system of their dreams.

2006 – Growing pains meant it was time to move again. Wine Racks America moved into a 25,000 sp ft building in North SLC.

2012 – We built our own wood mill where we could create new parts and mass produce them for the growing wine cellar market. WineSafe™ was launched, as we began offering the option of stains and sealants for our wine racks.

WineSafe™ is our own water-based recipe and is low VOC, odor-free and environmentally friendly.

2016 – Launched the CellarVue™ Collection; a modular wine storage solution with a modern touch featuring metal elements and horizontal label out wine display options to mix and match with the InstaCellar™ collection.

2017 – Time to grow, again! We moved into our 50,000 sq ft home, with room to grow around the corner in North Salt Lake City, UT.

2020 – Launched our custom doors and cabinet collection, adding to our modular design offerings.
